Topics include characterizing decision process, simple versus simple hypothesis tests, Neyman-Pearson Lemma, uniformly most powerful tests, unbiasedness and invariance of tests, and randomized and sequential tests. Applications of testing principles made to situations in normal distribution family and other families of distributions.
